Jennifer Cohen (born September 16, 1975) is a fitness personality, author and body image consultant living in Los Angeles, California. Cohen is best known for being a frequent guest on the Today Show, her role as the fitness trainer on CW Network's Shedding for the Wedding and her work as a spokesperson and trainer for Weight Watchers.

Career

Cohen is from Winnipeg, Canada and she has degrees in Psychology from the University of Manitoba, a Masters in Sports Marketing from George Brown College in Toronto, and numerous fitness certifications. Cohen began her career as a personal trainer focusing on workouts that can be done with little or no equipment outside of a gym and continues this philosophy of integrating fitness into everyday life. Cohen's philosophy of an everyday approach and realistic expectations is the focus of her first book, "No Gym Required: Unleash Your Inner Rockstar." Her articles and quotes have appeared in Redbook, People and Perez Hilton's fitness-centric website FitPerez.

Cohen was the spokesperson and active wear spokes model of La Senza (a Victoria's Secret brand) with her image used on billboards throughout Canada and the US.

Cohen is the CEO of NGR Fit, NGR standing for No Gym Required. The company is known for its wellness toning shoe, the NGR Shoe. The shoes have been worn by celebrities including Mary J. Blige, Jennifer Garner, Denise Richards and Whitney Port.

Cohen is also a spokesperson for Muscle Milk. In Summer 2011 she held classes at Muscle Milk Fitness Retreats in Los Angeles and Miami Cohen also endorses Polar heart rate monitors as a Polar Partner. Good Feet insoles are also endorsed and used by Cohen.

Cohen was a trainer on the reality show Shedding for the Wedding, which premiered in January, 2011 on The CW Television Network. The show was produced by Raquel Productions with executive producers Dave Broome of The Biggest Loser and Rick Hurvitz and Ari Shofet of Pimp My Ride. As the trainer on the show, Jennifer was tasked with changing the contestant'ss lives by teaching them how to incorporate real-life workouts into their daily routines.

Cohen is a frequent guest on the Today Show, Good Morning America and Extra.

Weight Watchers

Cohen began working with Weight Watchers in Spring 2011. She became a spokesperson for the Weight Watchers Walk -It Challenge, a 5k walk in LA and various locations throughout the United States on May 22, 2011. In February 2012, the Weight Watchers Points Plus Fitness Series were made available to weight watchers members. The 5 DVD set featured Jennifer Cohen and her workouts.

Jennifer Cohen is a reoccurring guest on Dr Drew's Lifechangers, a daytime talk show hosted by board certified internist and relationship expert Dr. Drew Pinsky. In August 2011 Cohen began blogging for the show about various body image issues.
