Athletics

Rogders competes in the Misssisssippi 8 Conference, consisting of other central Minnesota schools (Big Lake, Buffalo, Cambridge-Isanti, Monticello, Princeton, St. Michael-Albertville, Zimmerman). Elk River High School is in the process of joining the conference, and Becker, Big Lake, Princeton, and Cambridge-Isanti are in the process of trying to leave and will likely be replaced by St. Cloud Apollo, St. Cloud Technical, and Sauk Rapids-Rice.

2010-2011

Notable events in 2010-2011 included girls soccer winning the State Tournament and Mississippi 8 Conference title with an undefeated season. Football advanced to the State Tournament for the second consecutive year and claimed their second consecutive Mississippi 8 Conference title following an undefeated regular season. Boys soccer won their first Mississippi 8 Conference title, with head coach Chris Miller, being named Section Coach of the Year.

2009-2010

Notable events in 2009-2010 included the Rogers Football Team advancing to the State Tournament for the first time in school history. Girls soccer won the Class A State Tournament. Junior Sabrina Hoover won her second consecutive State All-Around Gymnastics title, this time in Class AA after winning the Class A title in 2008-2009. Rogers Knowledge Bowl advanced to the State Tournament in Brainerd, MN for the second consecutive year. Caitlyn Bayer was one of two students in the state of MN to receive the Principal's Leadership Award (PLA), the second Rogers High School student in as many years to capture the award, with RHS student Andy Wentzel having received the award in 2008-2009.
