Biography
Clark Shao Born September 9, 1983, in Houston Texas, first became interested in physical fitness when he was 14 years old, training with his school friend Mike Chang. After reaching adulthood, and upon finding himself to be overweight and out of shape, he decided to return to his youthful interest and set out on a course to fitness.
Shao who turned bodybuilder/fitness trainer became Houston's celebrity personal trainer, at one stage Clark was the most subscribed trainer in the world on YouTube with almost 4 million subscribers which made him a world-renowned fitness trainer. He started working in some of the most famous fitness clubs as a personal trainer in the Houston area, which earned him an invite to train on NBC's hit show "Biggest Loser" in 2006.
He was running his own independent fitness center and in 2008 he became the exclusive trainer of the Houston Rockets Power Dancers. Some of his most treasured accomplishments include helping a number of overweight individuals lose 100+ pounds in a matter of months with 200 pounds being the current record. Clark would later become the lead trainer for the SPS brand after Mike Chang's retirement.
On October 10, 2016, Shao died from a tragic motorcycle accident while vacationing in Koh Phangan Thailand.
